Design is a collaborative process between the land, you and the designer. Protecting the beauty and heritage of our NW landscape is important and provides inspiration for the design that you and I develop together.
Sustainability is also part of the design process: aspects such as low maintenance & water use, native plants, permeable surfaces, erosion control, runoff and recycling are considered. Sustainability is resourceful design: wise use of the land, water and materials used to express that design.
I have worked with various garden styles from woodland to contemporary including Asian & English, and ranging in size from small hummingbird gardens to rural landscapes. My degree and previous experience in Landscape Architecture provides a broad understanding of ecological concerns, design and the construction process. Please refer to my Bio section for more information.
If you wish I also oversee the installation process to insure design intent and your satisfaction. I look forward to speaking with you.
